Matt over at Bad Language posted about web 2.0 names - my name has been the bane of my life since email became prevalent, Alasdair is just too complicated for most people, the usual assumption is that it’s Alistair.
It’s a great filter - anything that isn’t spelt as Alasdair gets binned, however it’s great for the excising of vowels necessary for a good Web 2.0 tag so… my Web 2.0 name : Alasdr
